The Pittsburgh Steelers have one of the most intriguing quarterback battles heading into the 2022 NFL season and it continued this week.
According to reports coming from Steelers training camp, Trubisky is struggling badly with reps and he showed it off during a brutal drill that saw him fail to complete one pass.
On a “seven shots” drill which pits the offense vs. the defense from the two-yard line, Trubisky is on a 0/16 streak and has gone just 3/20 in training camp so far, per Steelers insider Mark Kaboly.
Trubisky has failed in the Steelers’ seven-on-seven drill since throwing for an eye-opening three touchdowns on the first day of training camp, according to The Athletic’s Mark Kaboly. He hasn’t produced a single touchdown conversion.

Last week, the fan base saw him throw two incompletions with his first two passes and immediately starting calling for Kenny Pickett to come in.
In his last full season with the Bears, Trubisky played 10 games, throwing for 2,055 yards, 16 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
