The Chicago Bears are once again excited about a young QB in first-round rookie Justin Fields, which is hard to believe when the fan base was in love with Mitch Trubisky just a few years ago when it looked like he would be their star of the future.
After four years of inconsistency where he never lived up to his first-round billing, Trubisky has found a new home with the Bills, where he’s serving as the backup to Josh Allen.
Now that he feels comfortable, he has something to say about his old stomping grounds. On Tuesday, Tribusky shared how he’s getting “that love for the game back” with the Bills while taking a shot at his old team.
“Nice to be in a place where people want you and care about you progressing as a person and a player,” Trubisky said.
After winning the starting job over Foles last training camp, he was benched during Week 3 before he replaced Foles in Week 12.

He wasn’t cut by the team, as they chose to not re-sign him this offseason. Something Trubisky was not aware of.
Trubisky appeared in ten games in the 2020 season. He finished with 2,055 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
