The Minnesota Vikings have been hit with another injury worry as reports indicate that wide receiver Jordan Addison was carted off from practice on Wednesday.
The Vikings are in a terrible spot at the moment, having lost rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy for the 2024 season, with the former Michigan star undergoing surgery on his torn meniscus.
According to multiple sources, Addison’s availability should also be of some concern, as he was forced off the practice field with a leg injury.
The wideout is an important member of the team’s offense. He started the last 12 games of his rookie season in 2023, making 70 receptions for 911 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns.
Fans will be sweating on his fitness following this latest development.

Jordan Addison Has Other Things On His Plate
Jordan Addison is also expected to be suspended by the NFL after a DIU arrest in California in July. According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, the league is likely to issue a suspension sometime in 2024.
“But due to the speed with which those matters move at the league office, they’re comfortable in their belief that any suspension would come either late this season or during the 2025 offseason,” Graziano reported.
Addison has since been charged with two misdemeanors.
He is set for an arraignment and plea hearing in October and could be suspended once the court process ends.
According to NFL rules, a player’s first offense regarding substances of abuse warrants a three-game suspension without pay unless there are “aggravating circumstances.”
This is not Addison’s first brush with the law. The WR pleaded guilty to a speeding charge last August, but it will not count against him as it was unrelated to DUI.
