Since the departure of Kirk Cousins, there has been speculation that Justin Jefferson might be on his way out of Minnesota.
Justin Jefferson reportedly turned down a massive extension last offseason, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
However, that does not mean the team has plans on shipping him out.
The Minnesota Vikings “have no plans to trade” wide receiver Justin Jefferson, according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini and Alec Lewis.
Jefferson is under contract with the Vikings through 2024, but he’s eligible for a new deal and is believed to be seeking record compensation after a historic start to his career.

Aside from Justin Jefferson, the Minnesota Vikings are entering a state of uncertainty at quarterback, recently agreeing to sign Sam Darnold as the first step in replacing Kirk Cousins.
Darnold is not the answer and is not even close to the quarterback that Kirk Cousins currently is. Just maybe the team finds something in the draft that will make their superstar WR happy.
For now, all indications are Jefferson will remain a Viking, if not long-term then at least for another season.
