The Minnesota Vikings are looking quite different heading into the 2022 season. The team has hired a new general manager, head coach, and offensive coordinator.

He went on to state that Cousins is a “good quarterback,” but also pointed out that the Vikings “don’t have Tom Brady” and “don’t have Patrick Mahomes.”
“[The Super Bowl] is more likely to win if you have that quarterback,” he added. “It’s very unlikely to have that quarterback.”

They have made the playoffs just once in his three years as the starting quarterback while posting an average 33-29-1 record. The biggest knock on Cousins is that his record in primetime games is 8-17. A quarterback paid as much as Cousins is should be able to produce more wins, especially in the big games.
Despite the overall record, Cousins is coming off a strong 2021 season with the Vikings. He finished 4,221 yards through the air, 33 touchdowns, and only seven interceptions.
