Former NFL star Nate Burleson made a stunningly accurate prediction ahead of Super Bowl 57, right down to the exact score.
Burleson, who spent 11 years in the league playing as a receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, and Detroit Lions, will be able to brag about his football acumen for at least the next year.
The 41-year-old was among the many analysts who were asked for their Super Bowl predictions before Sunday’s game and his guess is one of the most notable ones as he got everything correct.
Prodded for a prediction while performing analytical duties for the NFL Network, Burleson named the Kansas City Chiefs winners while also stating that Andy Reid would coach his best game. He declared that Patrick Mahomes would be the Super Bowl MVP and, most impressively, that the final score would read 38-35.
That should be enough to earn Nate a lucrative raise – such talent is rare when you take the many variables NFL games tend to throw at us into consideration – but it still doesn’t beat this guy’s prediction from even before the playoffs were seeded.
