It’s always nice to have a good old-fashioned cross-network quarterback debate.
FS1 personality Emmanuel Acho believes that Tua Tagovailoa is a better quarterback than Justin Herbert, and ESPN’s Mina Kimes did not agree with that stance. Back in October, Acho shared a video from his show “Speak” where he said “Justin Herbert might win a QB beauty pageant, but Tua Tagovailoa is the better Quarterback, period.”
Kimes, an analyst on “NFL Live,” then asked Acho to compare the two quarterbacks with regards to decision-making, arm talent, and athleticism.
Acho responded with a quote tweet:
Decision Making: Tua A- | Herbert C+
Arm Talent: TUA C | Herbert A+
Athleticism: TUA C- | Herbert B

That back and forth and his desire to continue the argument led us all to Sunday Night Football where the Dolphins and Chargers would settle this debate on the field.
When it was all said and done, Herbert, the Oregon Ducks legend, completed 39-of-51 passes for 367 yards and a touchdown in the 23-17 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Tua had the worst game of the season and possibly of his career. The Miami Dolphins quarterback completed a career-low 35.7% of his passes, going 10 of 28 for 145 yards with one touchdown for a 65.3 passer rating. Tua connected on one deep shot to Tyreek Hill for a 60-yard TD. Beyond that, he completed just nine passes for 85 yards.
Kimes made sure to bury Acho.
