The NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday, October 31 at 4 p.m. ET and even though teams continue to remain silent, there is still enough noise being made that players could be moved.
Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders arrived from the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason via free agency and he has not lived up to any expectations.
Now, it appears that the team might try and trade him before Tuesday’s deadline.
The Panthers need to try to replenish some of the draft capital they sent to the Chicago Bears for the No. 1 pick, which they used to select Bryce Young. In that trade, they gave up a compensation package that included two first-round picks and receiver D.J. Moore.
The Panthers were also part of the league’s biggest trade last year when they sent All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers for four draft picks.
Trading Sanders, who has seemingly lost the RB1 position to Chubba Hubbard, would likely be for a WR2 to partner with Adam Thielen.
