Vikings kicker Greg Joseph nailed a 54-yard, game-winning field goal as time expired Sunday and it sent the fan base into a frenzy. It all produced one of the strangest celebrations involving Mike Zimmer and Kirk Cousins.
As soon as the game was over, Cousins turned towards Zimmer, grabbed him, and yelled a bunch of things as Zimmer returned the favor. He also had to be held back from a staffer who had no clue what was going on.
“Oh, I was just celebrating with him. I was just fired up,” Cousins said, via ESPN’s Courtney Cronin.
On Monday, Zimmer shot down the rumors saying his shoving match with Cousins actually had some animosity behind it.

“He came over and said, ‘You Like That’ and shoved me and I shoved him back,” Zimmer said.
Zimmer added: “It’s all good.”
Vikings QB Kirk Cousins completed 25-of-34 passes for 275 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in Minnesota’s Week 5 win over Detroit.
The Vikings will travel to meet the 3-2 Carolina Panthers Sunday in a Week 6 game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
