We have tragic news to report as a former Buffalo Bills wide receiver has sadly passed away.
Former Buffalo Bills WR Mike Williams suffered injuries during an accident while working at a construction site and sadly would lose his life.
He was only 36.
Williams played at Syracuse, but was suspended for academic reasons and ultimately quit the team in 2009. Williams caught 133 passes for 2,044 yards and 20 touchdowns in 31 games at Syracuse.
Williams was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Back in 2014, he was in a Tampa hospital after being stabbed in the thigh. His own brother was a suspect. Also in 2014, Williams appeared in five games and caught eight passes for 142 yards receiving and a touchdown.
In 2015, Williams was suspended for the first three games of the season by the NFL.
Williams played 5 seasons for the Buccaneers and Bills. He had 223 catches for 3089 yards and scored 26 touchdowns.
