Mike Vrabel is jobless after the Tennessee Titans fired him, but he is surely not going to stay that way.
Mike Vrabel was fired on Tuesday by the Tennessee Titans after six seasons. Vrabel led the Titans for six seasons, compiling a 54-45 record during his tenure.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the New England Patriots are a destination to watch for Vrabel to get his next job.
“Sources: #Titans coach Mike Vrabel will not return in 2024, sources say, as both sides will move on after six seasons that included one Coach of the Year nod for Vrabel. He’s expected to be one of the top candidates available.
“Fair to say: Keep an eye on New England and what’s next for Bill Belichick.”
The Titans finished fourth in the AFC South with a 6-11 record. Everything wasn’t always so bad during his tenure.

Vrabel led Tennessee to three consecutive playoff appearances from 2019-21, including a trip to the AFC championship game in the 2019 season.
The New England Patriots would love that type of success, especially since the franchise has been at the bottom of the barrel since Tom Brady left.
Bill Belichick and Tom Brady won 17 division titles in 20 seasons together and six Super Bowls. Now, the team is among the worst in the NFL.
None of this Vrabel talk can happen until the Patriots make a decision on whether they will bring back head coach Bill Belichick.
