The Tennessee Titans’ season came to a crashing end following their 19-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC divisional round, which featured a performance to forget from quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
The Titans defense surely showed up with nine sacks of Joe Burrow, but on the other side of the ball was Tannehill completing passes to the opposing teams multiple times.
In speaking during his post-game press conference, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel refused to pinpoint the blame on Tannehill for this defeat.
“Well I don’t think Ryan or myself of anybody did enough to win the game,” Vrabel told reporters after the 19-16 loss. “That’s how it goes. It’s never gonna be about one person, not as long as I’m the head coach. Which will be a while.”
Tannehill completed 15 of 24 passes for 220 yards and a touchdown, along with three critical interceptions.
