The Tennessee Titans had to wait until the final week of the season to even qualify for the postseason and they haven’t squandered their opportunity at all as they took down the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens in back-to-back weeks.
Following the game, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was asked about a claim he made earlier in the year when he stated that he would chop off his own penis for a championship.
“Listen, I didn’t want to disappoint Taylor and Will when I went on the podcast,” Vrabel told Sports Illustrated’s Charlotte Wilder following Saturday night’s victory. “I knew they were gonna ask me things that probably, if I just clammed up, [the show] wouldn’t be very fun. So I tried to make it as fun as possible.”
Vrabel appeared on his players Taylor Lewan and Will Compton’s Bussin’ With the Boys podcast prior to the 2019 season when he made that claim.
“Been married 20 years,” Vrabel joked when presented with the hypothetical situation. “Yeah, probably.”

The Titans were viewed as a team to make any type of noise in the AFC South nor even make the postseason before the 2019 year began. Now, they are getting set to face the Chiefs or Texans in the AFC Title game for the right to go to the Super Bowl.
