The Carolina Panthers hosted the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The home team was just trying to get the fans fired up during this terrible season.
They did so in a huge way.
Former Panthers RB Mike Tolbert had the assignment to pound the drum to fire up the crowd.
Tolbert swung and did some damage, breaking the drum. He swung again and created even more damage.
Tolbert spent five of his 10 NFL seasons in Carolina. He ran for 992 yards, and had 19 combined rushing and receiving touchdowns.
Tolbert spent his first four years with the Chargers before heading to the East Coast. Once he came to town, he became a two-time All-Pro and a three-time Pro Bowler.
