Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel is known for his way with words
On ESPN’s ManningCast on Monday night, Peyton Manning revealed a text he received from Miami’s coach earlier that week. Manning was initially asking if he could have a few minutes of his time to discuss the Dolphins-Titans game, which ManningCast was scheduled to cover.
McDaniel texted back an NSFW pumped-up answer, “Um f— yes you’re f—— Payton manning bro.”
“The reaction was kind of mixed, Eli. He seemed excited, yet he spelled my name wrong.”
The Manning brothers then hilariously joked about whether McDaniel was confusing Peyton for Broncos coach Sean Payton.

Unfortunately for Miami fans, the Dolphins were upset by the Titans.
The Miami Dolphins struggled on offense with a hobbled Tyreek Hill, then blew a 14-point lead in the final 2:40 of a stunning 28-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday.
The Dolphins appeared to have a win in hand after converting a pair of late turnovers into touchdowns, but then they took their foot off the gas peddle and paid for it dearly. It was a shocking collapse for a Dolphins team that came into Monday with the NFL’s best offense and a chance to seize control of the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
The Dolphins still remain atop the AFC East with a 9—4 record.
