Miami Dolphins’ head coach Mike McDaniel is receiving plenty of praise for his classy move in the team’s 70-20 blowout win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon.
Miami became the first team to put up 70 points in a game since Nov. 27, 1996, when Washington crushed the New York Giants 72-41.
The Dolphins actually had the chance to surpass Washington’s single-game record on their final possession. But on 4th-and-14 from the Denver 27 in the final minute, McDaniel had backup QB Mike White take a knee instead of sending out Jason Sanders for a history-making attempt.

For the second straight year, Miami has opened the season 3-0.
