Jaylon Smith had one helluva game on Thanksgiving against his old team, but he is best remembered for one play when he jumped in the air and delivered a flying elbow move that saw him land on Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz.
Some fans accused Smith of making a “dirty play.” Despite how it look, Mike McCarthy had no issue with it.
McCarthy said it’s not out of character for the former Cowboys linebacker.
“If you watch Jaylon play a lot, he jumps a lot,” McCarthy said, via Michael Gehlken. “That’s something that’s all over the tape. I don’t think it’s out of character for him.”
No one was injured in the play so it’s much easier to move on from it.
In the game, Smith recorded 10 total tackles, 7 of which were solo, while having one stuff as well. It was a good game, but good enough to help his team with the win.
