Former Ravens free safety Earl Thomas has been linked to the Dallas Cowboys since before he took his talents to Baltimore. He is now being linked there now more than ever after the team released him from the roster following a fight he had in practice as well as other things that have rubbed the franchise the wrong way.
The Dallas Cowboys have emerged as front-runners to land the seven-time Pro Bowler.
Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy has since responded to those rumors and he basically shrugged them off.
“We’re very confident in where we are [with] the 80-man roster. . . . I have nothing really to report,” McCarthy said, via Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.
The mutual interest formed between Thomas and the Cowboys began a few days ago when Thomas was spotted running up to former head coach Jason Garrett and telling him to come and get up when he was a member of the Seahawks.
