Dallas Cowboys fans were livid after watching Mike McCarthy make a costly decision against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
The Eagles struck first, going up 7-0 on their opening drive, which included two conversions off fourth down. The first came in Philly’s half as the offense pulled off their patented “Brotherly Shove” to move the chains on a fourth-and-one.
On the prior play, Jalen Hurts looked like he was more than a yard short of the marker on a third-down scramble but the refs allowed him an advantageous spot.
McCarthy had the option of challenging yet did not do so, and the Eagles went on to score, with Kenneth Gainwell making an acrobatic leap for the touchdown.
Fans went in on the Dallas HC after the TD.
