The Miami Dolphins hadn’t topped an opponent with a winning record in 15 weeks prior.
That changed on Sunday.
Behind a late game-winning drive and five field goals from kicker Jason Sanders, the Dolphins took down the Cowboys 22-20, on a Christmas Eve Sunday evening at Hard Rock Stadium.
Sanders’ final boot from 29 yards with no time remaining was the difference.
Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy was watching intensely on the sidelines and his heart sank to his feet when the football went through the uprights.
FOX’s cameras captured Mike McCarthy’s reaction to the made field goal on Sunday night.
