ESPN’s Mike Greenberg has made a sensational prediction pertaining to Aaron Rodgers’ return amid the quarterback’s rehabilitation.
Rodgers is recovering from an Achilles injury suffered a few minutes into his debut for the New York Jets and is expected to miss the remainder of the season. However, Greenberg expects him to return by Week 12 if the Jets can remain above .500 and has even suggested he could lead them to Super Bowl victory should that turn out to be the case.
“I’m telling you right now, if the Jets keep it to .500 by Week 12, Aaron Rodgers is coming back,” an animated Greenberg said on ‘Get Up’ on Tuesday morning. “He’s coming back.”
“He’s going to do exactly what Tom Brady did his first year in Tampa. They were .500 with like three or four games left. They caught fire, he caught fire, and the next thing you know they won the Super Bowl,” he added.
The ESPN sportscaster also claimed that Rodgers’ absence offers fans a chance to “buy low and sell high,” in terms of the odds.
The former Green Bay Packers star is hopeful he will recover in time to return before the end of the regular season.

“This is just my mindset. I believe in the power of intention. I believe in prayer. I believe in your mental status and the power of will. I believe in making room for the miraculous to happen,” Rodgers said on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ recently.
It would be nothing short of miraculous if he does return before the end of the campaign. Fans will be hoping both he and Greenberg are right.
