Mike Greenberg really wants Aaron Rodgers to come to the New York Jets. He wants it to happen so badly that he’s willing to do drastic things if it were to go down.
During this Friday’s episode of Get Up on ESPN, Greenberg said he would go on his own darkness retreat if Rodgers gets traded to the Jets this offseason.
“In my effort to try and do everything I can to speak this into existence, I’ve made the declaration that if Aaron Rodgers signs with the Jets, I will do the darkness retreat,” Greenberg said. “I’m going to Oregon or wherever else they have these darkness retreats. I’ll go into the dark for three days or whatever it takes because I’ve been in the darkness for 50 years with this franchise.”
Dan Orlovsky jumped in and added, “I don’t think the Four Seasons has that option.”
The Jets are willing to wait on Rodgers, who promised this week on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast to make a decision “soon enough,” but there is reportedly an expectation the veteran quarterback will either retire or return to the Green Bay Packers.
If Rodgers does wind up back in Green Bay, the Jets should be viewed as the favorite to land Carr.

Greenberg likely will not go into darkness to celebrate that signing.
