Tom Brady is 45 years old and still playing in the National Football League. Spending 20_+ years in the sport means he’s going to encounter younger teammates that watched him play as a kid.
Mike Evans, who is currently on the Bucs, is one of those players.
In a recent interview, Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans admitted that he was a major Tom Brady hater when he was a kid and more so a fan of Peyton Manning.
“Growing up, I didn’t like [Tom Brady]… I was a Peyton Manning fan,” Evans said on The Von Cast.
The seven-time Super Bowl-winning QB will surely understand Evans’ admission. It’s not like he will punish him by not throwing him the ball. The under .500 Bucs team needs every catch they can get to try and finish off this year and win their God awful division that will ultimately give them a home wildcard game in the postseason.
Brady and Manning were the biggest rivals in the league. They played each other seventeen times as Brady holds the edge with an 11-6 record. He also holds five more rings.
