Azeez Al-Shaair had the best moment of his life when he met Mike Evans this past Sunday.
The Tennessee Titans linebacker approached the Tampa Bay Bucs wide receiver and revealed to him that he grew up watching him while being homeless and sleeping under a bridge.
Evans was touched by the conversation while complimenting him on how hard he plays.
As a youngster, Al-Shaair and his two younger brothers were bouncing around and had at times been homeless since his family’s house burned down in 2012. He had even taken all of his college official visits while being committed to FAU just so his family could eat free food at the schools.
In the game against the Bucs, Azeez Al-Shaair registered six tackles. For the season, he has 89 total tackles, 1 sack, and one fumble recovery.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans continued his strong campaign against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The veteran wideout made easy work of the Titans secondary in Week 11. He hauled in six of his 10 targets for 143 yards and a touchdown in the win.
