The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be moving on from star Wide Receiver Mike Evans soon, but he’s not available yet. That said, there is already interest.
According to CBS Sports, if the Buccaneers make Evans available for trade, 4 teams are already in the mix: The Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, New England Patriots, and the Detroit Lions are looking to make an offer.
The teams listed below are all interesting options for Evans. Dallas is constantly looking to put stars around Quarterback Dak Prescott to raise their ceiling. The Giants believe they’re close to a divisional championship to pursue a Super Bowl. New England desperately needs talent around Quarterback Mac Jones. Detroit has a set culture and great offense in a likely break out year but could use a big play #1 Wide Receiver.
With the regular season officially beginning this Thursday, there’s no word from the Buccaneers on what their plan is moving forward, but it looks more likely that Evans isn’t in that future. Evans is still a top Wide Receiver in the league, and if he leaves, send him to a potential contender.
