Current members of the Tampa Bay Bucs have been noticeably quiet since the signing of Tom Brady, but that’s because due to the respect they have out for Jameis Winston who know has to find another team to play on in 2020.
That silence was effectively broken when wide receiver Mike Evans was streaming live while playing “Fortnite” over the weekend, and he began talking about Brady signing with the franchise.
“Bro, I’ve been on that Hennessy man…I’m drinkin’. I’ve got Tom Brady,” Evans told his viewers. “I’ve played six years in the NFL. And I haven’t been to the playoffs yet. Tom Brady has won six Super Bowls.”
Evans clearly feels he has an actual shot of making it to the postseason with Brady than he ever did with Jameis Winston.
The 42-year-old Brady was just as excited to meat his new teammates.
“I look forward to meeting all my new teammates and coaches and proving to them that they can believe and trust in me…I have always believed that well done is better than well said, so I’m not gonna say much more – I’m just gonna get to work!” Brady wrote.
