Mike Ditka released a video endorsing a candidate for a local school board position.
However, fans couldn’t help but notice the legendary NFL head coach looking quite disheveled in the released video.

Ditka suffered a heart attack in 1988 — the same year he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a player. But he famously returned to work just 11 days later. He also suffered a stroke in 2012.
In 2018, the Pro Football Hall of Famer suffered a heart attack and doctors inserted a pacemaker.
Ditka enjoyed a decorated 12-year playing career as a tight end with the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys that saw him capture five Pro Bowl berths, two All-Pro nods and a Super Bowl title.
He later took over as head coach of the Bears in 1982 and went 106-62 during his 11 seasons at the helm.
