Michelle Beadle has piggybacked on Jemele Hill’s reaction to the drama brewing at ESPN.
There is now some very public friction between The Worldwide Leader in Sports and Pat McAfee following the former NFL kicker calling Norby Williamson out on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ this past Friday.
McAfee moved his show from FanDuel to ESPN last year and also works as part of the ‘College GameDay’ crew. But he seemed very annoyed at Williamson, the company’s head of production, during his last show and accused him of trying to “sabotage” the program.
“There are folks actively trying to sabotage us from within ESPN. More specifically I believe Norby Williamson is the guy attempting to sabotage our program,” he declared.
“(Williamson) is seemingly the only human that has information, and then somehow that information gets leaked and it’s wrong and then it sets a narrative of what our show is. And then are we just going to combat that from a rat every single time?”
Hill, formerly of ESPN, reacted by saying she can relate. Beadle, who also worked at the network for several years before departing, has offered her own three-word response.
“Well well well…” she wrote, seemingly implying she had issues with Williamson too.

ESPN isn’t expected to punish McAfee in any way but has disclosed that it will deal with the matter internally.
