“Barbie” starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling is easily the most talked about movie not only over the wekend, but one of the biggest summer blockbusters in recent years.
Like with anything, not everybody cares for it.
Former ESPN host Michelle Beadle took some time to give the movie a view, and she came away unimpressed. In fact, she even gave a controversial review of the movie on Twitter.
“Well…I slept on it. And my unsolicited review: with the exception of a few cute lines, and a beautiful, stimulating screen of colors for the eyes, I didn’t laugh. I didn’t find it witty or interesting,” Beadler said. “Gosling has some moments. Issa Rae has a line. I was expecting sneaky smart. It felt blatant and obvious. I also have opinions on Taylor Swift and Beyoncé if you’re interested…”

As for Beadle’s response to all of this debate, she fired back with a simple photo:
Barbie had grossed more than $775 million globally, $351.4 million domestically and $432.1 million overseas.
The movie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, held strong in the number one spot at the box office for the second week in a row, earning $93 million.
Multiple reports state Barbie also had the seventh-biggest second weekend in history.
As for Beadle, she left ESPN in the summer of 2019 after the network bought out her $5 million per year contract.
The former “NBA Countdown” host then joined the Spurs broadcast team where he remains today.
