Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater got the worst of a physical altercation in their Thursday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons after he was first tripped and then received a dirty hit above the neck by pass rusher Charles Harris.
Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints wasn’t having it and took to Twitter to defend the quarterback.
“It’s lame to hit a QB like that they keep the game fun.” said last year’s Offensive Player of the Year (via B/R Gridiron).
Charles Harris was flagged and throw out of the game as a result of his hit and backup QB PJ Walker had to fill in for the injured Bridgewater.
He would eventually make his way back into the game, but the Falcons ultimately came out on top in this game.
