Michael Thomas has always been one of those players to share whatever is on his mind on Twitter.
The New Orleans Saints star wide receiver was one of many players to speak out against the NFL’s collective bargaining proposal. The 26-year-old argued NFL players shouldn’t agree to the new collective bargaining proposal when an NFL announcer can make more than “90% of the players.”
He was referring to Tony Romo’s deal with CBS.
Unfortunately for him and a lot of other players, the NFLPA voted to approve the proposed CBA, which means there will be 10 years of labor peace. It also means two playoff teams being added for the 2020 season and a 17-game season in 2021.
In response to it, Thomas took to Twitter and suggested NFL players go full NBA and start doing some load managing during the season and miss games.
