It appears that Michael Thomas is back on board with Drew Brees.
The tide changed almost completely when the New Orleans Saints QB received plenty of praise on social media last night for his response to President Donald Trump.
Brees originally said to Yahoo that “I’ll never agree with with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country.” He apologized twice but the pain of his words were still there.
Then came President Donald Trump who took to Twitter to tell the future Hall of Famer that he shouldn’t apologize at all.
Brees took his thoughts to Instagram and wrote a fiery reply to Trump that said “We must stop talking about the flag and shift our attention to the real issues of systemic racial injustice, economic oppression, police brutality, and judicial & prison reform. We are at a critical juncture in our nation’s history! If not now, then when?”
Michael Thomas enjoyed every bit of it.

Brees signed a 2-year deal this offseason to return and having a dynamic WR in Michael Thomas happy with him is insanely huge for the overall success of the Saints.
