New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas is once again on the injured reserve to end a season, suffering from a dislocated toe.
Just because his season is done does not mean he isn’t in tuned with the game and things said about him.
For years, Thomas has been mocked with the ‘slant boy’ nickname because most of his receptions coming on slant routes and short passes. Carlton Davis did not help matters last year when he caleld him that as well.
Thomas went nuclear on social media over that name and fired back at anybody that refers to him by that name.
Thomas missed much of the 2020 season and the entire 2021 season and now has only played in three games this year. He just hasn’t been available to play ever since the team signed him to a big deal.

In the Saints’ first three games of the 2022 season, Thomas had 171 yards and three touchdowns. He was starting to revert to his All-Pro form. Since the 2020 season, the former Offensive Player of the Year has appeared in a total of 10 games.
The Saints are just 4-7 on the year and in third place in the NFC South. Shockingly, they still have an outside chance of winning this division.
