Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been heavily in the news this week after R&B singer August Alsina revealed that he had a long-time affair with Jada — sanctioned by Will.
Jada’s rep said the claims were “absolutely not true,” but on Friday, Jada and Will admitted that they had secretly split for a while a few years ago, and that she did have a romantic relationship with August during that time.
“I was done with your ass,” Will said to his wife of 22 years on her Facebook Watch show, “Red Table Talk.”
“We broke up,” Jada, 48, said. “We were over.”
She went on to admit that she got into an “entanglement” with August, adding that it was “a relationship.” As soon as the word entanglement was used, the jokes began to fly and everybody had something to say. That included Michael Thomas.
The New Orleans Saints WR took to Twitter on Saturday and hilariously threw a joke out there towards Will that used his own lyrics against him.

“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership . . . he gave me his blessing,” August told Angela Yee on the syndicated morning radio show “The Breakfast Club.” “I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it.”
