Things got awfully tense between New Orleans Saints’ wide receiver Michael Thomas and Carolina Panthers’ defensive lineman Derrick Brown after Monday night’s game at Bank of America Stadium.
In the video below, Thomas and Brown are seen exchanging words in the tunnel leading to the teams’ locker rooms. Brown and Thomas apparently got close to getting into an actual fight before a responsible team employee managed to break things up.

The Saints won a low-scoring affair 20-17 to move to 2-0 on the season, while the struggling Panthers fell to 0-2. Thomas had a productive day with seven receptions for 55 yards in the Saints’ victory.
It’s been a frustrating start for Brown and the Panthers, who were expected to compete in a wide-open NFC South division following the arrival of new head coach Frank Reich and rookie quarterback Bryce Young.
Just two weeks in, however, the Panthers are already two games out of the division lead. They’ll look to rebound with a road game against the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday.
