Indianapolis Colts receiver Michael Pittman Jr. said he doesn’t remember the “scary” hit that knocked him out of the game last week. That hit got Steelers cornerback Damontae Kazee kicked out of the game and suspended for the rest of the season.
The hit took place in Indianapolis’ 30-13 win over the Steelers on Saturday. An update on his status was released this Saturday.
One day after the Colts leading receiver was cleared by an independent neurologist of the injury he suffered last Saturday against the Steelers, Pittman developed new symptoms that sent him back into concussion protocol. Now, he will miss Sunday’s game against the Falcons.
This is a huge loss for the Colts as Pittman is having a career year with 99 receptions for 1,062 yards and four touchdowns.
The Colts are 8-6 and desperately need to keep winning as there is a log jam in the AFC South.
This will be Pittman’s first game missed this season.
