Michael Oher has been accused of sending threatening texts to the Tuohy family, per The Athletic.
The Super Bowl winner has had a falling out with Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, with the parties involved in a months-long saga over claims from the former stating he did not get what he was due from his portrayal in the 2009 Oscar-winning film, ‘The Blind Side’.
Oher has accused the Tuohys of fooling him into believing he was adopted while instead tying him to a conservatorship that allowed them to profit off him.
The Tuohys have, in turn, alleged that the former NFL offensive tackle tried to extort them out of $15 million via threatening text messages. In court documents filed this Monday, they stated that their part in the retelling of their story was categorized under fair use and shouldn’t qualify as commercial, which would mean that he should have gotten paid.
They also revealed bits from messages they received in which Oher threatened to go public with claims of getting conned out of over $50 million.
“If something isn’t resolve (sic) this Friday, I’m going to go ahead and tell the world, how I was robbed by my suppose (sic) to be parents. That’s the deadline,” they claim to have been told by the former player. “Think how it will look when this comes out.”

Oher filed a petition back in August accusing the family of lying about adopting him when they showed him the paperwork that would make them his conservators back in 2004.
The Tuohys have argued that the move helped him play for Ole Miss, which later got him into the NFL.
Oher’s legal team did not respond to a request for comment.
