Jimmy Johnson wasn’t the only one crying his eyes on Sunday.
During halftime of the Packers-Seahawks divisional playoff game, Hall of Fame president David Baker made a surprise appearance on set to deliver the news to the former Dallas Cowboys head coach that he would be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Jimmy was emotional, and so was Troy Aikman who was also crying.
“The only thing I can think of is all of the assistant coaches that worked for me, all the great players that played for me, they’re the reason I’m here,” an emotional Johnson said after Baker told he was a Hall of Famer. “I can’t talk. This is so special.”
Sometime would pass before Michael Irvin would jump on Twitter anbd annouce that he was also brought to tears when he watched his former coach get something that was well overdue.

Johnson learned of his news a day after former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher was surprised in similar fashion on CBS.
