Michael Irvin reacted just as you thought he would when Dak Prescott got his new deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
Stephen A. Smith promptly had him as a guest on his ESPN+ show, pretty much knowing he would lose his mind to the point that his response would go viral. He was correct.
The hall of fame WR proceeded to say how Dak Prescott is the closest thing in the NFL to Tom Brady.
The Cowboys gave Prescott a four-year, $160 million deal with a record $126 million guaranteed. The first three years average an annual salary of $42 million.
Prescott missed most of the 2020 season after he suffered a devastating compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle during a win over the New York Giants in October. In five games during the 2020 season, Prescott went 2-3, completing 151 of 222 passes (68.2%) for 1,856 yards and nine touchdowns to four interceptions.
The two-time Pro Bowler is 42-27 as the Cowboys’ starting quarterback since 2016, who has 17,634 yards and 106 touchdowns to 40 interceptions in his career so far.
