Sad news out of the football world today as former Dallas Cowboy and Hall-Of-Famer Michael Irvin took to his social media accounts to announce that he recently lost a close member of his family.
Although it is unclear who had passed away, it is clear that it is someone very close to Michael. He posted a picture of himself in front of the casket with the caption: “Leaving time going to eternity to be with God”
Soon after Irvin made the post, prayers and condolences started pouring in from football fans from all over. Here are some of the messages sent to Michael, which are surely appreciated by himself and his family:

For the last several years, Irvin has appeared every Sunday morning on the NFL Networks “Gameday Morning” show which previews the upcoming day in football. There is no word yet if the Playmaker will be appearing on this weekends show, or if he will be taking some time to be with his loved ones.
