Michael Dunn deserved better than what he got from the Cleveland Browns.
According to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Cleveland Browns are releasing veteran offensive guard Michael Dunn.
This would not exactly be huge news normally, but it is since the team had just wished him happy birthday hours ago. It should be noted that his birthday wishes were likely scheduled by the social media team. Those people have no idea what is going on behind the scenes when coaches are making roster decisions.
It should be noted that the Browns may trust Dunn to hold tight while they roster a player who needs to hit Injured Reserve, then they reach back out.
However, Dunn will have to clear waivers, however, so there is no guarantee he will not land immediately with another franchise.
He appeared in 28 games with four starts over the past three years.

After being suspended for the first 11 games of the 2022 NFL season, Watson and the Browns went 3-3 in the team’s final six games. Watson tallied 1,102 passing yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions in those final six games.
