The Chicago Bear couldn’t find the end zone one time on Sunday, but their kicker made sure to keep them in the game all day long by knocking down all of his attempts.
Michael Badgley supplied all of the Chicago Bears’ points in Sunday’s 20-12 loss to the New York Giants.
He was signed on Saturday and elevated from the practice squad to replace Cairo Santos. He made all four field goal attempts in Week 4.
On Monday, the Bears cut him from the team.
“We’re appreciative of Michael’s contributions and performance last week against the Giants, Bears general manager Ryan Poles said in a statement posted on the team’s PR Twitter account. “Coming in on short notice and delivering for us the way he did was nothing short of impressive.”

Cold-blooded business.
Badgley will now search for another job, but at least he has a lot of tape for his next time to view.
