Everyone from within the Dallas Cowboys organization who has spoken about Brett Maher’s performance during the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday has shown support for the kicker.
However, he didn’t appear to get a similar vote of confidence from Dak Prescott while the game was going on. The quarterback was visibly livid after one of Maher’s missed extra-point attempts and one can certainly understand why.
Maher’s outing was historic, in a very bad way, as he missed four consecutive PATs, having missed three throughout the entire regular season.
Mic’d Up audio of what Prescott actually said has since surfaced. In the video below, the QB could clearly be heard screaming “go for f**cking two,” following the third miss, which is what pretty much everyone else was thinking (including possibly Maher himself).
Fortunately, Brett’s mistakes did not cost the Cowboys the game. They won rather comfortably at 31-14 and did not have to rue that quartet of missed kicks.

The Cowboys will stick with Maher for their upcoming game against the San Francisco 49ers but have signed another kicker to their practice squad just in case.
