NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that the league owners approved a proposal that will allow players other than offensive and defensive linemen to don the No. 0 on their jerseys.
Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons, who wears No. 11, wasted little time in announcing that he might be changing his number.
“I’m switching!!” he tweeted. “Agent 0 coming soon!”
It seems he might be a little late after safety Jayron Kearse informed him of this:
Parsons and Kearse may be battling it out for the right to wear the number in Dallas, but Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley appeared to become the first NFL player to make the switch.

The NCAA allowed college football players to wear the number beginning in 2020.
Linemen will be outlawed from wearing the number. They will only be able to wear numbers 50-79 as well as 90-99.
Small change but players seem really excited about it.
