Micah Parsons took to social media to critique Brock Purdy’s awful performance during the 49ers quarterback’s outing vs. Baltimore on Monday night.
Purdy, who went into the game as the favorite for MVP, had a performance to forget, throwing four interceptions against the Ravens defense en route to a 33-19 loss.
To be fair, he was always due a game like this. It was inevitable. It happens to the very best, and Pury was not going to be spared amid his fairytale run. The Niners can at least draw comfort from the fact that it did not happen during the playoffs.
The Cowboys linebacker, though, had no mercy for the struggling Niners QB and savagely went in on Purdy, suggesting the latter is nothing but a fraud.
“Down 21 and there no shots or development throws! Should tell you all you need to know!” he wrote on X.
Fans thought this was a bit rich from Parsons, who lost to the Dolphins the previous day, a defeat which marked a second straight dropped game. They also pointed to the blowout loss to San Francisco earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, Purdy has taken responsibility for the loss.
“I have to look myself in the mirror, watch the plays, get better, make some cleaner decisions, help my team put up points and score and protect the ball,” he admitted.
“And when things don’t go my way, it’s understanding I can’t be acting out. I have to be real with myself and be better. But I want to be the same guy every day, be consistent in what I do, how I do things, whether things are going well or not. I know who I am, and I’m not going to waver in that. I’ve said that before, I’ll continue to hang my hat on that.”
Monday’s results leave the 49ers tied with the Eagles and Lions at 11-4 in the NFC, so we could have a few more twists before the playoffs take shape.
