When Micah Parsons steps on the football field, he knows he has to face a double team for much of the game. In 2023, it seems he is being triple and quadruple-teamed when you also add in him going against the refs as well.
Parsons has only drawn three holding calls on blockers this season per Sportradar. This is despite multiple videos and picture evidence showing that he is being held throughout a game.
Despite being one of the league’s best pass rushers, Parsons has not drawn a holding call in the last 42 quarters, a nearly impossible occurrence.
It has become so bad that someone has made a compilation video showing him being held throughout games.
The 24-year-old still leads the NFL in quarterback pressures (97), quarterback pressure rate (23%), and pass rush win rate (37.6%).
Parsons is clearly on track to become just the fifth defensive player in NFL history to be a first-team All-Pro player in each of his first three seasons, but his impact would be even greater if refs would open their eyes to see what is going on.
