Cowboys defensive star Micah Parsons is getting roasted by NFL fans following his defense of heavily criticized teammate Dak Prescott.
Parsons, who was the MVP of the recent NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, reckons Dak is being blamed unfairly following the Cowboys’ early exit from the playoffs last season.
America’s team surprisingly lost to the Packers in the Wild Card Round in the recent postseason, making them a laughing stock yet again. But Parsons is of the view that his teammate is being unnecessarily criticized by the media, more so ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
“Besides Patrick Mahomes, what other QB in the AFC has accomplished anything to get more credit than Dak?” he asked Smith during a recent visit to the journo’s podcast.
Most fans aren’t siding with him.

As for the question, Smith named Joe Burrow and Josh Allen, but Parsons was not willing to concede on Allen.
“What people are failing to realize, and this is where accountability, culture, leadership all takes place,” he added later on. “There has to be a point in time where Dak throws a pick in a crucial moment, same way Pat [Mahomes] did, and I gotta say ‘Yo 4, don’t stress it, I got you, we gonna get a stop right here, you just need to come back like I know you will.’
“I just don’t condone the bashing of Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys … critics should have the same energy for the Eagles.
“We want the same energy for everybody. Because there’s a whole bunch of bashing when it’s Dak Prescott, but not the same when it’s the Eagles … If y’all just gonna hate Cowboys Nation, just say y’all hate Cowboys Nation.”
Way to stick up for your teammate, Micah. But the people do not agree.
