Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons had multiple incidents of puking during the game on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Parsons was seen by reporters throwing up on the sideline during his team’s 33-10 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Despite what was seen, the Cowboys and Parsons made it clear that he didn’t have any sort of sickness. He simply drew a stomach issue from consuming too much C4 energy powder before the game, Parsons told reporters.
“I got some water to help put it down,” Parsons said. “By the fifth play, it felt like my heart was gonna jump outta my chest. I felt like I was about to explode. I’m never doing that s— again.”
C4 Energy is a caffeinated pre-workout supplement that is available in both drink and powdered form. The most common side effects of consuming C4 Energy is nausea and increased blood pressure.
Despite him feeling like crap, it did not stop Parsons from collecting 2.5 sacks and six total tackles in the Dallas win.

Parsons’ 2.5 sacks brought the Cowboys’ total on the day to seven and his season total up to 10 with six tackles for loss. He’s the first player in franchise history with at least 10 sacks in each of his first three seasons.
On top of seven sacks, the Cowboys also scored a pick-six thanks to cornerback DaRon Bland.
