The NFL community is ripping on Dallas Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons over his complaint about fans on social media.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, the three-time Pro Bowler complained about a group of fans who asked him to autograph mini helmets and pictures. Parsons even posted an image of a female fan who he accused of “following” him:
“The fact it was 8 grown men waiting outside of my gate with mini helmets and pictures when I got off my planes is insane!! I hope yall realize sometimes how much athletes gotta hold back! This lady is currently following me!”
The internet did not take Parsons’ rant kindly, with many of them instead ripping on him for not being more friendly to his supporters:

Parsons may not like it, but this is part of being a celebrity, let alone a superstar player on one of the world’s most beloved sports teams. At the same time, it’s fair to understand that he simply wanted his privacy after what was probably a tiring journey to get to his destination.
Then again, there are probably better ways to handle a frenzy of fans. Expressing your unhappiness with it on social media certainly isn’t the best way to get good publicity, though.
The 24-year-old Parsons had another excellent year for the Cowboys in 2023, racking up 14 sacks and one forced fumble en route to a third straight Pro Bowl nod. Though Parsons’ efforts helped Dallas to a third straight 12-win season, their 2023 campaign was dashed by a humiliating loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round.
