For the twenty-seventh consecutive year, the Dallas Cowboys fell short of their ultimate team goal for the season of winning the Super Bowl. For the second year in a row, the Cowboys lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional round in a tightly contested, defensive battle, 19-12.
When recently appearing on the @PFT_Live Podcast, Cowboys superstar and All Pro linebacker Micah Parsons revealed who he would love for his team to pursue when Free Agency begins next month.
The thought of the Cowboys adding Daron Payne to their already stacked defense is something that would strike fear to the rest of the teams in the NFC. Dallas finished third in sacks in the NFL this past season with a total of 54, led by Parsons 13.5.
Payne had an impressive total of 11.5 sacks from the Defensive Tackle position and teaming him up with Parsons, along with DeMarcus Lawrence and Dorrance Armstrong would give the Cowboys a ferocious defensive front.
